We are very excited to be celebrating our 40th season this year!  Below is a list of the vendors that will be joining us, as well as what season they will be kicking off with us this summer.  Opening day on the square is Saturday, April 23rd, with Tuesday markets starting on May 3rd.

Santa is Coming to the Market!

We are so excited to announce that Santa is taking a little time out of his super busy holiday schedule to spend a morning at the market with us!

This December 18th, from 9-12, Santa will be stopping by to spend time with our customers and help us raise money for our LINK Plus program!  Through donations from our vendors, fans, and customers, we are able to match market dollars for LINK recipients at the market!  This helps us make local, nutritious foods available to more of our community.  We also match WIC and Senior market vouchers through this program.  There will be no fee to visit with Santa, but donations will be welcome!

To keep everything COVID-safe, Santa will be hanging out in a separate area, with a separate entrance.  This will ensure that our market customers will still be able to do their shopping without crowds.  Line for Santa will form outside, to allow for plenty of space, and we will operate under a “one family out, one family in” policy.  Santa will have on a face shield to allow for protection, while giving the best photo opportunities.  We will have seating set up next to Santa for anyone who does not wish to sit on Santa’s knee, or would like to social distance from Santa.  A guardian must be present to make decisions regarding personal safety preferences.  We want all of our fans to be able to spend time with Santa while feeling safe!

We are extremely thankful for Santa and his mission to bring joy and good will to this Christmas Season, and we hope to raise money for this wonderful program! We are also looking for volunteers for this event to be Santa’s helpers, please reach out if you are interested in more information.

Tuesday markets on the square end on September 28th!

Saturday markets on the square end on October 23rd,
we move indoors to the fairgrounds on Saturday, October 30th!

Our winter market is held at the McHenry County Fairgrounds, building D

LINK Cards and WIC/Senior Benefit Vouchers are accepted at the market. Our information tent located outside of the Square near the west entrance can accept LINK cards in exchange for tokens which can be used as payment for all vendors offering food.
