Len, Jan & Christina are Sosinski’s Produce (est. 1983). Jan is on the cutting edge when it comes to deciding what to grow and what not to grow, how to display and use their self- grown produce to attract customers attention and is in charge of public relations. Len is committed to growing and producing the highest quality fresh produce using the IPM (integrated pest management) System of farming. This system, when practiced correctly by a grower, is the customer’s assurance that the use of pesticide is held to the bare minimum and used only when necessary to control a pest. Incidentally, their family eats the same produce as is for sale to their customers so it has to be “something good, that is good for you.” Their daughter Christina, now off at college, helps out in the Summer and is their helper both on the marketing end as well as on the producing end. They offer fruits, veggies, jam, and some crafts.
Our 1872 farmstead is located just outside of Whitewater, WI. We raise registered, pure-bred Nubian goats, organically-grown herbs and organic, free-range poultry. In addition to milking goats, we infuse fresh, aromatic/medicinal herbs into olive oil and use a cold-press extraction method to release their valuable properties. These natural ingredients find their way into olive oil soaps and herbal balms and sundries for you and your family.

For the past 3 decades I have been bringing my olive oil to the United States from Greece. Other oils cannot compare to the fruity, buttery and peppery taste of my own Greek oil. There is nothing else like it! My customers know the value of quality olive oil as an important ingredient in their healthy cooking. My Greek olive oil is 100% extra virgin, first cold-press, made from olives grown on trees on my family’s farm in Greece.
Our journey into growing microgreens began as an idea to improve the health of our family. Understanding that whole foods, fruits, and vegetables are the best source of nutrition, we realized that microgreens often contain even more essential vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants than fully grown produce. After growing our first batch of microgreens, we happily discovered that our whole family loved them, even our dog! That’s when we felt confident this adventure in microgreens could grow into something even more. 🌱 With lots of love, planning and practice, we expanded our growing operation to offer our delicious microgreens to you! We hope you enjoy them as much as we do and tell your friends and family about Green Appetit.

May’s Honey Farm, local family-owned and operated for 74 years, is proud to continue to be part of the Woodstock Farmers’ Market. Founded by George May, in 1948, May’s Honey Farm is operated by George’s grandson, Tim and great-grandson, Colin. May’s Honey Farms was invited to join the Woodstock Farmers’ Market in 2011 when previous honey vendors exited, leaving a void in an essential farm market staple: locally produced honey. To fill the gap, George May’s son, Phil, partnered with long-time family friend, Dan Kreusch, to operate May’s booth on The Square. Dan continues May’s year-round representation at The Woodstock Farmers’ Market, providing what many devoted fans say is their favorite honey, Sunny Hill Honey. While the official company motto is “The finest honey in the Chicago area,” stop by May’s booth and you are likely to hear Dan proudly proclaim, “Sunny Hill Honey is the best in the state, since 1948: it ALWAYS tastes great!” Phil always said once folks tried his family’s honey, they’d fall in love with it. If you have any doubt, please stop by our booth and ask for a free sample taste. We look forward to adding you to our growing list of happy customers!

The name Ramshackle Farm was inspired by one of my favorite folk punk bands. Sometimes when you’re dealing with late stage capitalism, the climate crisis, and a global pandemic, you just need to scream along to good music in your car. And then sometimes you need to sell your house, quit your job, move across the country, and start a farm. So here we are.
Ramshackle Farm is a 5 acre family farm featuring a 5000sf chemical free hydroponic facility and a 1 acre mixed vegetable market garden.
- We are:
- Farming in a human scale
- Committed to food sovereignty
- Educating tiny farmers
- Embracing the community
- Punk Rock
