Amanda Olsen of Preservation School will be giving a free demonstration on how to make and process salsa. Salsa is a great way to use up summer’s bounty of tomatoes and is one of the easiest ways of preserving tomatoes. Utilizing a food processor for the heavy lifting of preparing the tomatoes, peppers, and onions, Roasted Lime & Tomato salsa comes together quickly and easily.
Preservation School will show you how easy it is – it’s a cinch to make the salsa, fill the jars and process them in the water bath canner for shelf-stable storage.
