Summer Market Opens May 3rd!

April 28, 2016 by WFM Staff

flyer for blog

Spring is blooming and soon the Summer Market will be in full swing!  Join us for the Opening Day on Tuesday, May 3rd on the Woodstock Square.  The market will be on the Square every Tuesday & Saturday from 8 am – 1 pm, May – October.  With over 30 vendors participating, this season’s market will be full of great produce, plants, flowers, meats, eggs, cheeses, baked goods, artisan crafts and much, much more.  We are excited to have several new vendors joining us this year!  Check out the vendor listings to see what day your favorite vendors will be at the market.

As always there will be fantastic live music for everyone to enjoy!  Be sure to check out Music@the Market on the events calendar for information on performances.  RC Juggles will be entertaining us once again with wonderful balloon creations and juggling (times & dates will vary).   The Artisan Market, featuring handmade craft items, will continue this year on the third Saturday of each month through September.

We thank you for your continued support & we look forward to seeing everyone at the Woodstock Farmer’s Market!

Link Plus Fundraising Concert -7/18- Featuring Mark Dvorak

July 8, 2015 by WFM Staff

The following musical acts will be performing and there will  be free pizza around 8:15 pm.   The concert starts at 7 pm and first up will be Northwest Highway, a trio of local singers with strong vocals and a steel guitar backup.  Second will be Cassandra, a singer songwriter who performs every thing from country to the blues.   Next our feature performer, Mr. Mark Dvorak from the old town school of music.   Mark is called America’s troubadour and follows in the tradition of Pete Seeger and Woody Guthrie. Mark is a teacher from Old Town and performs around the United States.   Following Mark we will have our own Don Humbertson with Merv Collins who form the group Guyz with Bad Eyez!!!
The fundraising concert will be held July 18th, 7pm-10pm at the Unity Spiritual Center on 121 West Calhoun Street.
We are asking for a $15 donation but everyone is welcome and donate what you are comfortable with.
