Welcome to our new Vendors – Wilson Nurseries~ Perennial Plants and Flowers
The Wilson Family is excited to join our Woodstock Farmers Market Family, and we are excited to have them!! This beautiful family owned business is providing our market this summer with a variety of perennial plants and flowers that is locally grown. Over 600 acres of abundant variety of quality flowers and plants- they are traveling from Hampshire, Illinois on Tuesdays and Saturdays and are happy to be part of Woodstock’s growers Market. Below you will see a family committed to making the best choices available to our market customers. They are very passionate about joining a growers market in this ever popular “big box” choice world… They value the opportunity to get to know our customers at the market and give them choices of beautiful plants and flowers that are hardy and accustom to this area of the US. Keep a look out for their very own “WILSON NORTHERN CHARM” boxwood, that was named after them. Many generations of knowledge, hard work, and care has gone into this family business and the plants they grow and care for. Woodstock Farmers Market is pleased to see all of that passed on to our customers each week this summer.
Hampshire is Wilson Nurseries primary growing location, with 600+ acres under B&B production, including 65 acres for container growing. Wilson’s Nurseries have been supplying the nursery and landscape industry with quality, locally grown nursery stock since 1972.Wilson’s prides itself on being one of the first growers in the area to focus on environmentally sustainable methods of growing: terracing, drip irrigation and the like.
