The farmers market is being relocated to MCC for a single date: Saturday, September 21st.

We hope that you will show your support and follow your favorite food providers to McHenry County College for the day.

Thank you to MCC Center for Agrarian Learning for providing space for our market to continue during the most bountiful time of the year.

We are so excited to announce that Santa is taking a little time out of his super busy holiday schedule to spend a morning at the market with us!

This December 18th, from 9-12, Santa will be stopping by to spend time with our customers and help us raise money for our LINK Plus program!  Through donations from our vendors, fans, and customers, we are able to match market dollars for LINK recipients at the market!  This helps us make local, nutritious foods available to more of our community.  We also match WIC and Senior market vouchers through this program.  There will be no fee to visit with Santa, but donations will be welcome!

To keep everything COVID-safe, Santa will be hanging out in a separate area, with a separate entrance.  This will ensure that our market customers will still be able to do their shopping without crowds.  Line for Santa will form outside, to allow for plenty of space, and we will operate under a “one family out, one family in” policy.  Santa will have on a face shield to allow for protection, while giving the best photo opportunities.  We will have seating set up next to Santa for anyone who does not wish to sit on Santa’s knee, or would like to social distance from Santa.  A guardian must be present to make decisions regarding personal safety preferences.  We want all of our fans to be able to spend time with Santa while feeling safe!

We are extremely thankful for Santa and his mission to bring joy and good will to this Christmas Season, and we hope to raise money for this wonderful program!
