Summer Market 2020 – Press Release

For Immediate Release

The Woodstock Farmers Market will return to the Woodstock Square on Saturday, June 6 and will be held on each Tuesday and Saturday until October from 8 am to 1 pm.   Special rules of operation will be followed in and we encourage anyone with an underlying health condition not to attend the market.  We encourage pre-ordering and our vendors are working hard to keep personal contact to a minimum.  The following rules will be followed.  

Please note that dogs are not encouraged to maintain social distancing.

Rules for 2020 Woodstock Farmers Market

  1. We will have vendor tables spaced at least six feet apart to maintain social distancing. 
  2. We will have our product protected so that customers cannot touch produce  before buying and provide signage to help enforce that. 
  3. We will monitor and control the number of people allowed in the market at any one time, and will make sure we can easily maintain social distancing at all times. 
  4. Preorders are being suggested, and we will make every effort to deliver product to a customer that prefers not to leave their vehicle. 
  5. No vendor will be allowed to set up who shows any obvious signs of illness.
  6. All tables will be sanitized before the market and appropriately throughout the market hours. 
  7. We will encourage any vendors and customers with underlying Health issues to not attend the market. 
  8. All vendors must wear protective face coverings while at the market and customers should wear protective face covering.

The Woodstock Farmers market is making the following changes to protect our customers and vendors from the Corona Virus.

Our market will be outdoors only and open from 9 am until 1 pm

  2. We will not have music or any activity that would encourage customers to linger at the market.
  3. We will have our product protected so that customers cannot touch produce before buying and provide signage to help enforce that.

  5. Preorders are being suggested, and we will make every effort to deliver product to a customer that prefers not to leave their vehicle.

SUMMER MARKET 2019 NEW VENDORS ARE…

WOODSTOCK SUMMER MARKET 2019

We are excited to announce a few new faces you will see at the Summer Market in 2019…
Wilson Nurseries is from Hampshire IL and will have a booth full of beautiful perennials and plants that are ready for your perfect garden.

Broadview Farms is from Marengo IL and is bringing a variety of seasonal fresh produce on Tuesday Market, delicious vegetables grown locally on their family farm. They will also have hand made Lard Soap that is sure to please!

Root and Sky Farm is also from Marengo IL, they are a local family farm that have an assortment of meat cuts and eggs to choose from. They will be a Tuesday vendor~ so don’t miss out!!

Like all of our vendors, these family farms and businesses have the same values that makes Woodstock Farmers Market  stand out from the rest… a GROWERS Farmers Market- with vendors that hold up the commitment to grow the freshest and healthiest  “farm to table” food for our community and visitors to Woodstock Illinois.
